The Bet-NH blog answers one question at a time: what a rule in New Hampshire means in practice. Each article starts from a situation a resident actually runs into, such as a withdrawal that has not arrived, a bet that is unavailable near a state line or a win that has to be reported, and explains who decides, what the written rules say and what you can do next.
Articles cover five areas: state rules and the New Hampshire Lottery, taxes and reporting, payments and withdrawals at offshore sites, fantasy sports and racing, and safer play. Offshore sites are not licensed or regulated by New Hampshire, and where an article mentions one, it says so.
We do not publish predictions or tips, and nothing here is legal or tax advice. For tax questions talk to a qualified preparer; for a complaint about a licensed operator, the regulator named in the article is the place to start.
Every article carries its published date. When a rule or an offer is re-checked the page is re-dated, and if the check changes the answer the text is rewritten rather than patched, so what you read is what we currently stand behind. If a rule has changed since a page was written, tell us at [email protected].
